For sale here is a very scarce R.L. Winston IM6 graphite rod -- 8' 2pc for a 2 weight line! Serial no. 62567. The rod is in near mint condition appearing to have only been lawn cast.

Beautiful emerald green sanded blank with matching wraps, burgundy tipping at the signature wrap. Bright guides. U-shaped hook-keeper. Spigot ferrules for a smooth and efficient transition of energy and a more streamlined profile. The sections fit together perfectly with a 1/4" gap to account for wear over time. Fine nickel silver winding check. Reverse half-wells grip 6 7/8" in length and only the lightest of handling marks. Bright nickel silver up-locking reel seat with a beautiful maple spacer. The Winston logo is laser etched on the bottom of the butt cap. The rod weighs in at 2.55 oz. Includes the original bag and labeled tube.

The action is a bit slower and with more feel than most modern graphite rods and capable of considerable finesse. Perfect for little brookies, cutthroats, and a blast with panfish.
