For sale here is a very special Peerless reel from the Haig-Brown "Greased Liner" commemorative set. Unused condition. Left hand retrieve. #7 of only 27 made. The R.L. Winston rod from the same commemorative set can be found for sale separately here.
Aluminum frame with black side plates. The reel features a polished brass badge that reads, "Haig-Brown Commemorative 7 of 27". The reel weighs 8 3/4 oz. Diameter 3 1/4". Spool width 1". Capacity WF8 + 125 yds 20#. Audible click both directions with a strong adjustable disc drag as well.

- "In honor of the late Roderick Haig-Brown, patron saint of salmon and steelhead conservation, the Wild Salmon Center, with support from the Haig-Brown family, announces a limited edition Haig-Brown Greased Liner commemorative rod and reel - an exquisite combination of tackle the master himself took so much pleasure using. It's the perfect outfit for swimming greased-line wet flies and somber waking dries in clear summer flows for steelhead and Atlantic salmon.
Only 25 [this number became 27] commemorative combinations will be built - wonderful collector's items to display proudly. Each handmade rod and reel, with custom matching cases, comes specially numbered and engraved.
The Reel: Traditional Vom Hofe design, turned from aircraft-grade aluminum by fine reel maker Bob Corsetti of New Hampshire.
Leather Case: Individually made with polished brass fittings by artisan Arne Mason of Oregon.

Shipping Information
- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
