For sale here is a stunning Kabuto 7'6" 4wt 3 pc. fiberglass rod. Serial no. 4119. The rod is in mint condition. The rod features an unsanded translucent white fiberglass blank, depending on the light, the rod can have an almost pale blue-green hue. Transparent, honey colored wraps with fine black tipping. Moderately oxidized guides, banded amber agate stripping guide. The rod has spigot ferrules for a smooth transfer of energy through the sections. The sections fit together perfectly with a 1/4" gap to allow for wear over time. Fine, oxidized nickel silver checks. Cigar-style grip with a slender nose and a rather straight taper. Oxidized, nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a handsome mortised stacked bamboo spacer. The rod weighs 3.60 oz. The action is a superb medium-fast dry-fly with plenty of backbone. The minimal aesthetics paired with the bright glass, gives the rod a unique, standout look matched only by the performance of the rod. Rod includes original bag as well as a Kabuto's amazing fiberglass tube.
