Sage Z-Axis 690-4 9' 6wt Fly Rod

For sale here is a Sage Z-Axis 690-4 9' #6wt fly rod. The rod is in excellent condition. Beautiful deep green sanded graphite blank with matching wraps and gold tipping at the signature wrap and female ferrules. The reverse half wells cork grip is in great shape with only light soiling. Fine nickel silver up-locking reel seat with a wood spacer. The seat would benefit from a good polishing. The ferrules fit together tightly and are also sound, no cracks. The Z-AXIS rods were designed to be very light in the hand, fast and accurate up close as well as when reaching out. An excellent streamer rod whether fishing from the bank or from a boat though it easily handles nymphs and dries equally as well. Comes with original Sage tube and Sage rod bag.
