Sage SPL 8'9" 4wt Graphite IV Fly Rod

For sale here is a Sage SPL 489-3 -- 8'9" 4wt 3pc. graphite fly rod. The rod is in very good condition. There are a few minor marks on the blank from fishing use. Deep green sanded blank with matching wraps. Gold wraps at the winding check, signature wrap and ferrules. Western style grip in excellent condition, very light soiling. Up-locking reel seat over a Maple wood spacer. there are a few small marks in the wood. Ferrules fit together nice and tight. Rod weighs 1.80 oz. Medium-fast progressive action allows for a good bit of feel in the rod. This rod would make an excellent all around rod if the larger rivers aren't your usual scene. Though capable of nymphing, this rod excels at throwing dry flies. Rod comes with original bag and tube.
