R.L. Winston "Leetle Feller" Bamboo Rod 7'6" 2/2 #4

For sale here is a Winston Rod Co. "Leetle Feller" bamboo rod made in 1974 (Tom Morgan era in SF). 7 1/2 feet for a 4 weight line. Two-section construction. Serial #1278. 2 7/8 oz. The ferrules are size 11/64 and tip tops are 5/64. Medium action. Excellent original condition. Skeleton cork reel seat with aluminum hood and locking ring. Carboloy stripping guide. Handsome bakelite winding check. Hard chrome, stainless snake guides and tops. The rod was originally made as a one-tip rod with a two-compartment bag. The owner had Tom Morgan make another tip in 1975 and this tip is 1/4" shorter than the original tip (Tom made the new tip without having the other sections in his possession). The original tip has a slight set in it. The original owner's name is inked on the rod. Comes with its original Winston bag and tube with "loving cup" label as well as a separate sleeve for the extra tip. Don't let this "Leetle Feller" get away!

We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.
Other Terms
Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
