Tom Morgan Rodsmiths / Graywolf - 8'6 7wt Fiberglass Fly Rod

For sale here is a custom Tom Morgan Rodsmiths / Graywolf - 8'6" 7wt 4 pc. fiberglass fly rod. Serial no. 428. A Tom Morgan Rodsmiths blank finished by the masterful hands of Shane Gray (Graywolf). The rod is in excellent+ condition. The sanded blank is a handsome maroon color with clear wraps and fine black tipping. There is a Tom Morgan Rodsmiths label located halfway between the grip and ferrule. Written in off-white ink on the butt is, "Graywolf" and,  "8'6" 7wt. No. 428" on the opposite side. The rod features spigot ferrules. The fit is perfect with a 1/4" gap to allow for wear over time. There are aluminum collars around each of the female ferrules to aid in strength. The modified full wells grip is quite unique and very comfortable in the hand. The cork shows only the lightest of soiling. Bright nickel silver down-locking reel seat with two locking rings to ensure the reel doesn't fall off the second you hook into a monster trout. The unique reel seat spacer is made of fiberglass in the same color as the rod. The rod weighs 4.95 oz. The action is on the faster side of medium-fast with plenty of power and backbone. The fine tip allows for delicacy when called for. Includes original TMR maroon bad and TMR maroon powder coated tube.
