A very nice RL Winston bamboo fly rod, 8'6", 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #8 line. Serial #2533. The rod weighs 5.3 ounces on my scale. This rod is totally mint, never been cast. Montana era model. Strong DF action, a real cannon. It also has one of the finest coats of varnish I have come across, perfectly flat and flawless. Light brown wraps with black edges at the keeper, ferrules, and tip tops. The rod is as straight as the day it left the shop. The 7" long grip is perfect for salmon or steelhead fishing and styled to a full wells with nice crisp edges. The reel seate is a nickel silver downlocking screwlock witha nickel silver pocket cap and mortised wood spacer. The bottom camp is engraved "RL Winston, Rod Co". The rod packs into a red cloth bag and the tube is brown crackle paint with a gold anodized collar and top with a tasteful gold and brown Winston sticker. A very fine example of a Montana era Winston that's perfect for single handed salmon and steelhead fishing.

Shipping Information
- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
