A very nice Homer L Jennings fly rod, 7'9", 2-piece, 2-tips, built for a #5 line. Serial #413. A "Wind River" model labeled "23-4-96". This rod is in near mint condition with just a hint of brassing to the butt cap edge and a micro amount of hand soiling to the grip. Medium fast action. The ferrule fits are just right and the rod is very straight. Excellent quality varnish work. The rod tempered to a wheat straw color and is built in a three up node pattern construction. The main wraps are light yellow with a very small brown edge and brown at the ferrules. The ferrules are a truncated swiss-style design and are oxidized black. On the wrap flat is the lettering "no 413 - H. L. Jennings- 7ft 9in #5" and one flat right "23-4-96". Three flats right "Wind River". The keeper is one flat left. The grip is 6" long and what I would call a weight forward cigar. The reel seat is an oxidized cap and ring and the wood is a well-varnished and mortised west coast Maple burl. The rod is packed in a cloth bag and the aluminum tube is anodized black with the collar and top anodized gold. A very nice little rod here.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
