For sale here is a very special and unique matched rod and reel set from the bench of Swedish maker, Bo Mohlin. A 6 foot graphite rod for a 2 weight line and a matching 2 1/2" diameter trout reel. The diminutive reel foot is 1 1/2" long, made to accommodate the small reel seat on the rod.
The rod is in near mint condition.The rod features a dark green sanded graphite blank with silver wraps. The inscription reads "Silver Lining 2003." "Handcrafted in Sweden" "by: Bo Mohlin" in white writing. Inlaid in the varnish at the winding check is a grizzly hackle as well as a jungle cock feather. The rod features bright guides and spigot ferrules. Western-style grip with only the lightest marks from handling. A very petite aluminum up-locking reel seat with fine knurling and a beautiful burl wood spacer and butt cap. The rod has a rather quick and crisp action as one would expect but capable of the utmost delicacy. The rod weighs a svelte 1 1/2 oz. Comes in original plaid rod bag made by Bo and aftermarket rod tube.
The reel is in mint condition. RHW. The frame is made of semi-matte aluminum and the side plates anodized black aluminum. S-style handle. Inscribed on the side plate is "Mohlin of Sweden" "No. 0375". The reel weighs 3.85 oz. with the included 2wt line and backing. The line is in mint condition. The reel comes in a very handsome leather case with a green felt lining and brass clasp. Stamped on the lid is "B" and "M" with a trout in the middle.
This is a beautiful little set would be amazing on the small brookie streams. The total weight with rod, reel, and line is 5.3 oz.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
