For sale here is a beautiful Chris Carlin hex bamboo rod - 8'6" 3/2 for a 4 weight line. Model LL8643. The rod is in excellent+ condition. Medium flamed cane, dark olive wraps with black tipping. Black wraps at the ferrules and winding check. 3-up node pattern. Blued hardware throughout. jade agate stripping guide. Modified full-wells grip with very light soiling. The reel seat is stunning, blued nickel silver cap and ring with knurled edges. The spacer is a highly figured burlwood with cork inlayed in the mortised cavity. The rod has a luxurious appearance without being to audacious or showy. Size 9/64 and 15/64 blued n/s ferrules (truncated) with a great fit. The action is medium-fast and quite authoritative for a 4wt. The extra length on this rod make it very handy, allowing for casts and drifts not possible with a shorter rod - an excellent trout rod. Comes with original light canvas bag and brown tube with label and brass fittings.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
