This is the one and only original brook trout oil painting. Beautiful stained wood frame with outside measurements at 21" x 25". Vibrant colors on an acrylic wash golden yellow ochre background. Stretched canvas measures 16" x 20" x 3/4". The perfect gift for any fisherman or fisherwoman to hang proudly above their fly tying bench.

I graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Illustration. I've been painting and drawing since I could hold a crayon and it's been my love ever since. I never really had a focus or style with exception to the fact that all of my art is very vivid. I'm color deficient which means I have a difficult time seeing pastels as they all look gray to me, so when I paint and draw I like to show how I see things.
Since I love to fly fish I decided to make a series of paintings that I wanted. In between commissions of work for other people they took me three months to complete, with the rainbow being the most time consuming. Once they were all finished I decided to sell a limited run of prints for other fishermen who have a love for just how beautiful these fish really are. I realized that I wasn't the only person who needed a fish art piece to hang above their fly tying area.

Shipping Information
- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Other Terms
- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
