Winston, RL -- San Francisco Era 8'6 Fiberglass Rod

For sale here is a SF-era R.L. Winston 8'6" 6-7wt fiberglass rod. Two-piece construction. The rod is in excellent condition. All wraps are sound. As is the varnish and the blank itself. A very well cared for rod. Chestnut-brown colored blank. Red wraps with silver tipping at the winding check, signature wrap, ferrules, and tip-top. The rod features the "loving cup" label on the butt section. It is fully intact with bold and crisp letters. Ring hook-keeper. Black aluminum winding check. Full wells grip is in lovely shape with light soiling. Though, the cork that was used was not of the best quality. Anodized gold aluminum, down-locking reel seat with a black aluminum spacer. The reel seat does show some slight use marks. Spigot ferrules with a nice secure fit, free of cracks or other defects. Smooth and authoritative medium-fast action for a 6 or 7wt. Rod weighs 3 7/8 oz. Includes original red Winston bag with green label. No tube.
