For sale here is the shortest of the line, Montana-era R.L. Winston "Leetle Feller" bamboo rod - 5'6" 2/2 3wt -- 1 3/4 oz. Serial no. 2340. Mint original condition. Never fished. All sections are full length and straight. Transparent honey colored wraps with burgundy tipping at the winding check, signature wrap, ferrules, and tip-tops. Perfect varnish. Carboloy stripper. The petite script remains clean and bold. The tips are distinguished by a 1 or 2 at the ferrules along with the serial number. Bronzed ring hook keeper. Cigar/reverse half-wells grip 5 1/2" in length. There is a very faint tint of red around the butt of the grip left by the red rod bag. Bright nickel silver checks. Bright nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a finely mortised cork spacer. Duronze ferrules size 10/64 with a perfect fit. The actual weight is 2.25 oz. Medium-fast action. Includes original bag and tube with foil label and brass fittings.
The Winston catalog describes the "Leetle Feller" as follows:
"They are designed to make short, very accurate casts on small streams where extreme care in line presentation is desired. The Leetle Fellers are well designed rods for serious anglers to fish #3 or #4 lines under 50'."

Shipping Information
- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
