Garrison syle hook-keeper. The original owner's name is written on the rod in gold along with the length and line as well as the serial no. Nickel-silver, octagonal checks. Western-style grip with only light soiling. Nickel-silver up-locking reel seat with a beautiful mortised, Tiger Maple spacer. The ferrules are in excellent shape, void of cracks or other defects. The female ferrule features a nickel silver collar to aid in prevention of a ferrule crack. The rod has a fast dry fly action well suited to most trout streams and creeks. The rod weighs 2.75 oz. The original rod bag and tube are stunning. The bag is made of a satin-like material in a plum color with a black faux suede lining and a paisley piping around the edge. The tube is a heavy octagonal aluminum with a hammer-tone finish also in a plum color. The cap is quite handsome with knurled edges and a brass Tom Morgan Rodsmiths medallion set in the top. The tube is housed in a heavy black felt cover with an adjustable drawstring and piping at the bottom to match the rod bag.
