For sale here is a Thomas and Thomas Henry's Fork Bamboo Rod from T&T's Individualist Series. Taken from the early 1990s catalogs which provided descriptions of each rod, "A longer 8'6 rod for #5 line that's perfect for light line trouting on bigger waters. Medium dry fly action and extra length that allows better control of drag. Smooth casting with minimum effort". The rod is in excellent+ original condition throughout. The rod features a nickel silver screwlock slide band and lock ring, hand buffed. Morticed burled walnut reel seat spacer (one tiny mark on it) and a western grip (may have been cleaned over the years, can't be sure). Elegantly swelled butt, slightly oxidized guides, darkly oxidized ferrules and tip tops, great ferrule fit. The tip tops show some use. "Every Individualist rod boasts a hand-rubbed, high-gloss varnish finish". Clear silk wraps with brown edges and medium brown wraps at the ferrules and winding check. Comes with original bag with stiffener, brass-capped black aluminum tube with nice label. The rod weighs 6 1/4 oz. The rod is serial number 5520, placing the rod's production in the early 2000s. Don't miss out on owning this T&T classic!
