For sale here is a Bob Taylor bamboo rod -- 7' 2/2 for a 4 weight line. Serial no. 24-4-366. The rod is in excellent condition. All sections are full length and straight.
Another example of why Bob Taylor is still one of the best bamboo rod makers in the world. The rod has a slightly and elegantly swelled butt section. Blonde cane with gold wraps and Chinese red tipping. Red, yellow, and oxblood tipping at the winding check and male ferrules. Agate stripping guide. Ring hook keeper. Nickel silver checks. The cigar grip measures 5" with only mild soiling. Nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a mortised cedar spacer. Light wear to the rim and bottom of the butt cap. The ferrules are size 12/64 with an excellent fit. The rod weighs in at 3.15 oz. The action is medium-fast capable of considerable finesse. Original bag and labeled tube.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
