For sale here is a Jim Reams 8'6 2/2 5wt hollowbuilt bamboo rod. Serial no. 234-12-09. The rod is in excellent condition having been fished sparingly. All sections are full length and straight. Transparent caramel guides with oxblood tipping. Lightly blued guides. The tips are differentiated by one or two dots at the ferrule along with the serial number. Full wells grip with only light soiling. Beautiful up-locking blued nickel silver sliding band reel seat over a mortised burl wood spacer. The blued Swiss-style ferrules are size 14/64 with an excellent fit. The rod weighs 4 oz. The action is on the medium side of medium-fast with a full-flexing character. Includes original bag as well as the original labeled tube.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
