Phillipson Epoxite 7'6 5-6wt Fiberglass Fly Rod

For sale here is a Phillipson Epoxite 7'6" 5-6wt 2/2 fiberglass fly rod. The rod is in excellent original condition. This is not a 3M rod, but rather it was made while Bill Phillipson still owned the company. The blank is a clay color with mocha wraps and off-white tipping. There is a small worn spot on the signature wrap that could use a dap of varnish at some point. Bright guides. U-shaped hook-keeper. The ferrules fit together tightly as they should. The females feature a brass ring around them for added strength and durability. The labels on the rod remain bold and free of defect. Cigar grip 5 3/4" in length. The cork shows only light soiling. Rust colored anodized aluminum down-locking reel seat with a cork spacer. There are a few nicks and scratches on the butt cap. The rod weighs 2.70 oz. The action is classic medium-fast glass. The fine tips allow for precise delicate casts while the butt is stout enough to load a good amount of line and land a hefty fish. The rod includes the original bag and a replacement tube. The tube is maroon aluminum with gold-colored fittings.
