For sale here is an early 1970's Orvis CFO V Screwback fly reel. Made in England by Hardy Bros. The reel remains in excellent+ condition showing very little wear though there is a small ding on the spool rim that also chipped the paint. Mechanically the reel is perfect.
The reel features a quick change spool and is compatible with all later made CFO V's. Right or left hand retrieve. Includes an aftermarket zippered faux leather case. The reel comes loaded with backing and Orvis WF9F line in very good condition. Don't miss out on this rare version of the CFO - a true modern classic!

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items.
