For sale here is a quite rare Gary Howells bamboo rod -- 7'3" 2/2 3wt. Serial number 5311.The rod is in unfished / lawn cast only condition. All sections are full length and straight. Carbide stripping guide, bronzed guides. Brown wraps with gold tipping. Reverse half wells grip still covered with the original protective plastic and masking tape strip. Aluminum cap and ring reel seat with a cork spacer. Black plastic butt cap. The ferrules are size 11/64 with a perfect fit. The rod weighs in at 2.70 oz. Wonderful action on the medium side of medium-fast. Smooth and well balanced.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items.
