For sale here is a wonderful example of a Goodwin Granger "Favorite" Model 9050 3/2 5-6wt. The rod is in excellent overall condition. The rod is almost all original with one exception. Someone has secured three of the guides with a few extra turns of gold and black variegated thread. There is also a bit of very minor heat damage to the varnish. This is largely undetectable and could almost certainly be taken out with a good polish. All sections are full length and straight.
Classic Granger ammoniated cane. Gold and black variegated wraps with gold tipping and full intermediates in gold (thanks to the aging of the varnish). The stamped script remains clean and bold. Handsome gradually swelled butt. The western-style grip is soiled and lightly ridged with a small indentation towards the reel seat. The classic up-locking Granger reel seat is in excellent condition void of scratches and dents and operates smoothly as it should. The ferrules fit nice and tight. The rod weighs 5.80 oz. The action is classic Granger, on the medium side of medium-fast and great for far and fine work on a lake or larger river. Includes original bag and tube with label 95% intact.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
