For sale here is a very scarce 7’6” 2/2 Lyle Dickerson Model 7613 for a five weight line. Delivered to John A. Patricks in 1953. Standard Dickerson brown wraps with black tipping. Reverse half wells grip with DL reel seat and walnut spacer. Original bag in fine shape. The vintage tube has an imprint of the original owner’s name present from an old label, so is possibly the original tube used during a material shortage. This Champion tube is the same tube Paul Young used and these two local makers were known to do business frequently. Ferrule fit is perfect and the rod is in all original and lightly used condition. Short unmolested Dickerson rods in this condition are very rare, almost unheard of.
This rod comes from a very discriminating collector and fisherman. He's been collecting, buying and selling rods for a long time. He is very particular about evaluating rods and what he buys. He has owned close to 200 rods over the past 25 years and has only kept the very best in terms of condition and build quality. This rod and others represent part of his collection and we feel they are some of the nicest and most honest rods anyone will ever hope to find.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
