For sale here is a beautiful Thomas and Thomas Paradigm - 7' 4wt 2/2 bamboo fly rod. Serial no. 3669. The rod is in excellent+ condition. All sections are full length and straight. The rod features lovely deep honey-toned cane with 3 x 3 node spacing. The wraps are clear with fine cinnamon tipping. There is also a band of black tipping a the winding check and tip-tops. The ferrule wraps are a dark mahogany with black tipping. the tips are marked one and two at the tip-tops as well as the ferrules. Blued hardware throughout, save the bright nickel silver hook-keeper. Handsome swelled butt, a well loved characteristic of many T&T rods. The original owner's name is printed on the butt along with the rod information. Finely turned nickel silver checks. Cigar style grip 5" in length with only light soiling and handling smudges. Cap and ring reel seat with a beautifully grained mortised walnut spacer. There is a small area on the butt cap where the bluing has worn thin, likely from rubbing against the bag. The T&T stamped ferrules are size 13/64, the fit is perfect. the action is medium-fast and feels light and very well balanced in the hand. With delicate tips and the swelled butt this rod would make for a near perfect small stream dry-fly rod, though it does have the backbone should you hook into a larger fish. The rod weighs 3 1/8 oz. Includes original bag with stiffening dowell. Also, includes original fine leather tube with brass T&T badge on the cap. The elegant simplicity of this rod demonstrates why T&T rods have held their esteemed position for so long. Don't miss out on this rod in a rather rare configuration.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
