For sale here is a very nice hollow-built rod built by AJ Thramer from his signature series. An 8'3 2/2 for a 5 weight line. Serial no. TH2566. The rod remains in mint condition. All sections are full length and straight.
Flamed cane with 3 x 3 node spacing. Gold wraps with emerald tipping. Oxidized guides with a nice agate stripping guide. The serial number is written on all sections with the rod model inked on the swelled butt. Ring hook keeper. Full wells grip 6" in length. Black aluminum down-locking reel seat with a beautifully figured wood spacer. Oxidized step-down ferrules with a perfect fit, nice and snug. The rod weighs in at 4.45 oz. The action is a swift medium-fast dry-fly capable of considerable finesse. The butt has a good bit of backbone thanks in part to the swelled butt. The long length lends itself well to mending and perfect drifts through tricky seams.
Includes the original bag with hang tag and tube with logo. A wonderful rod that easily rivals rods twice the price.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
