For sale here is a Phillipson Pacemaker bamboo rod - 8' 3/2 for a 5wt line. The rod is in excellent condition though it has seen a bit of fishing in its day. There are small nicks and scratches to the varnish throughout. All sections are full length. There are sets in both tips and in the mid section, these can easily be straightened. Light pea green (Granger green) wraps with gold tipping. Mildly swelled butt. The script on the rod remains bold and dark. The full wells grip is soiled and also a bit ridged where the thumb is placed. Bright aluminum down-locking reel seat with a classic black bakelite spacer. There is some light wear to the threads on the spacer as well as to the buttcap. The nickel silver ferrules are size 15/64 and 9/64 and fit together nicely. Medium dry fly action, capable of everything from small dries to streamers. The Pacemaker is widely praised as an excellent all-around rod for the price. The rod weighs 4.35 oz. Comes with original bag and original fiberboard tube with label 60% intact. Don't miss a chance at a classic rod for a great price!

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
