For sale here is a Lyle Dickerson Model 901812 bamboo rod - 9' for a 7 weight line, marked as weighing 5 1/4 oz. Three-piece rod with three tip sections. The rod is in excellent+ restored condition. All sections are full length and straight. There were 74 of this model made according to the Dickerson ledger with only 23 known to exist when the book was published.
Bronze colored wraps and black tipping. Blued guides. Maroon agate stripping guide. The original script was retained during the restoration and remains clean and bold. Bronzed, ring hook-keeper. Blued nickel silver winding check. Slightly tapered cigar grip with down-locking hardware and walnut insert. The cork is lightly soiled and mildly ridged. There are also a few guide marks in the cork from being packed tightly in the tube. Oxidized nickel silver ferrules with a great fit. The action is buttery smooth, on the medium side of medium-fast. Actual weight is 5.30 oz.
Comes with original fold-over bag with model designation in Dickerson's handwriting, and original brass-capped tube. Also includes a two sleeve tip bag to house the extra tip.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
