For sale here is a very scarce rod made by Dutch rodmakers, Gerrit Glezer and Ger Vroomen, or "G&G". This was their "Goldstar" model. 7 feet for a 4 weight line. Two sections with one tip, as was standard. They utilized a fascinating nodeless construction of alternating dark and light strips of cane to produce a visually stunning appearance. This rod comes complete with all the bells and whistles they offered back in the 1990s during their collaboration. Gold plated hardware, intricate engraving of the German silver ferrules and reel seat ring, cigar grip (the foregrip is hexagonal due to the six strip swelled butt), gorgeous wood spacer with uplocking ring, and a very fine leather rod tube with rod bag. The action of the rod is medium fast with fine tips (size 4/64). The ferrules are size 11/64. The rod weighs 3 3/4 oz. It remains in mint condition having never been fished, only lawn cast.
Ger Vroomen has a website currently and his price for an equivalent new one-tip rod is nearly $3,000. This one is offered at less than half that!

Shipping Information
- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
